NISV training process

We look forward to accompanying you on your path to a successful qualification. We would like to give you some helpful tips and briefly explain the process of your training.

structure of the training

The training is divided into four stages, which must be completed in full and in accordance with the Federal Ministry's NISV regulation. Absences are not permitted and must be made up.

1. E-Learning

In the first phase, you will complete various modules online, at your own pace. You will need a tablet, PC or smartphone for this. We recommend a tablet for the best viewing experience.

After successfully registering and signing the training contract, you will receive your access data for the e-learning platform. All modules must be 100% completed before you can move on to the next phase.

2nd virtual presence phase

After completing the e-learning, the virtual attendance phase follows. This is an online course that takes place in small groups of up to 15 participants via Zoom.

An experienced lecturer will convey the contents of the NISV regulation and lead the class. Please note:

• Participation requires a camera and microphone.

• Your attendance will be recorded electronically.

• We recommend that you actively take notes and follow the lessons carefully.

3. Physical presence phase

In the third step, you will complete practical training on site. This includes 4 days of intensive instruction in which you will:

• demonstrate your skills in accordance with the NISV under the supervision of a physician,

• Conduct practical exercises,

• Complete an internal qualification with exams.

4. Completion and Certification

After successfully completing the attendance phase, you will receive a school certificate. With this you can contact an examination organization of your choice to receive the final certification
